1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains how InsightsPulse handles subscription cancellations, refunds, plan upgrades and downgrades, and billing disputes for the InsightsPulse Power BI Embedded and Tableau Embedded white-label analytics platform. This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, the InsightsPulse Terms and Conditions. By subscribing to any InsightsPulse plan, Customers agree to the terms set out in this Policy.
2. Definitions
- “Customer” means the organization or individual that has subscribed to a paid InsightsPulse plan.
- “User” means an individual authorized by the Customer to access the Platform under the Customer’s subscription.
- “Subscription” means the Customer’s paid access to the InsightsPulse Basic, Professional, or Enterprise plan.
- “Billing Cycle” means the recurring monthly (or otherwise agreed) period for which subscription fees are charged.
- “Trial Account” means an account created under the 15-day free trial offered by InsightsPulse.
- “Refund” means the return of previously collected subscription fees, in whole or in part, to the Customer.
- “Cancellation” means the act of discontinuing a Subscription so that it does not renew for a future Billing Cycle.
3. Scope
This Policy applies to all paid Subscriptions to the InsightsPulse Platform, including the Basic, Professional, and Enterprise plans, unless a separately signed Enterprise Agreement expressly provides different billing, refund, or cancellation terms, in which case the terms of that Enterprise Agreement shall prevail.
4. Subscription Plans
InsightsPulse currently offers the following subscription plans, as published on https://insightspulse.in/Pricing:

Plan features, user limits, and pricing may be updated by InsightsPulse from time to time, with the then-current pricing published on the InsightsPulse Pricing page. Organizations with requirements beyond the Enterprise plan may contact InsightsPulse to discuss a custom Enterprise Agreement.
5. Free Trial Policy
InsightsPulse offers a free trial of fifteen (15) days for evaluation purposes only. The free trial allows up to five (5) users and provides access to basic Power BI and Tableau report dashboards, so that prospective Customers may explore the Platform without any cost. No credit card is required to sign up for the free trial. At the end of the trial period, Customers who wish to continue using the Platform must subscribe to a paid plan; trial data and access may be limited or removed if no paid subscription is activated.
6. Billing & Renewals
Paid Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each Billing Cycle unless cancelled by the Customer prior to the renewal date. By subscribing to a paid plan, the Customer authorizes InsightsPulse to charge the applicable subscription fees to the payment method on file for each recurring Billing Cycle, based on the plan selected (Basic, Professional, or Enterprise) and the number of active users, where applicable.
7. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel future renewals of their Subscription at any time by accessing their account settings on the Platform or by contacting InsightsPulse support. Cancellation will take effect from the end of the current Billing Cycle, and the Customer will retain access to the Platform until that date. Cancelling a Subscription stops future renewals but does not, by itself, create an entitlement to a refund for amounts already billed for the current or prior Billing Cycles.
8. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and may be approved in circumstances such as duplicate payments made in error, verified billing errors caused by InsightsPulse, or documented service failures that are directly attributable to InsightsPulse and that materially prevented the Customer from using the Platform. Refunds will otherwise be granted only where required by applicable law or expressly approved by InsightsPulse at its discretion.
9. Non-Refundable Charges
The following charges are generally non-refundable, unless applicable law requires otherwise: fees for Billing Cycles that have already been completed or substantially used, implementation and onboarding work, consulting services, custom development work performed at the Customer’s request, training sessions, and any third-party charges (such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau licensing fees) incurred on the Customer’s behalf.
10. Upgrades & Downgrades
Customers may upgrade their Subscription (for example, from Basic to Professional, or Professional to Enterprise) at any time. Upgrades generally take effect immediately, with billing adjusted on a prorated basis for the remainder of the current Billing Cycle, where applicable. Downgrades to a lower-tier plan will generally take effect from the start of the next Billing Cycle, so that the Customer continues to receive the benefits of their current plan until the end of the period already paid for.
11. Failed Payments
If a scheduled payment fails, InsightsPulse may attempt to retry the charge and will notify the Customer of the failed payment. Continued payment failure may result in restricted access to certain features, suspension of the account, or, following reasonable notice, termination of the Subscription. Customers are encouraged to promptly update their billing information to avoid service interruption.
12. Chargebacks
Customers who have a billing concern are encouraged to contact InsightsPulse support before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card issuer, as this generally allows for a faster resolution. InsightsPulse reserves the right to suspend account access while investigating a chargeback, and fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in permanent suspension or termination of the account.
13. Enterprise Agreements
Enterprise Customers who have entered into a separately signed Enterprise Agreement with InsightsPulse will be governed by the billing, refund, and termination provisions set out in that Enterprise Agreement. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and a signed Enterprise Agreement, the terms of the Enterprise Agreement shall govern.
14. Taxes
All subscription fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Customers are responsible for payment of any applicable taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) for Customers based in India, or other equivalent taxes applicable under the Customer’s local jurisdiction, in accordance with prevailing law.
15. Exceptional Circumstances
InsightsPulse may, at its sole discretion and subject to applicable law, consider refund requests that fall outside the standard scope of this Policy in exceptional circumstances. Any such refund granted on an exceptional basis shall not be treated as a waiver of, or precedent for, the terms of this Policy in respect of any other request.
16. Service Interruptions
Temporary service outages, scheduled maintenance windows, or brief interruptions to Platform availability do not automatically entitle a Customer to a refund or service credit, unless expressly agreed in writing between InsightsPulse and the Customer, or unless required by applicable law. InsightsPulse will make reasonable efforts to notify Customers in advance of scheduled maintenance where practicable.
17. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date billing information, monitoring their subscription renewal dates, and cancelling their Subscription prior to the next renewal date if they do not wish to continue using the Platform. InsightsPulse is not responsible for charges incurred due to a Customer’s failure to update billing details or to cancel in a timely manner.
18. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, Customers should contact InsightsPulse support and provide the following details: the account or organization name, the relevant invoice number, the payment reference or transaction ID, the reason for the refund request, and any supporting documentation that may assist InsightsPulse in evaluating the request. Refund requests can be submitted using the contact details in Section 21 of this Policy.
19. Refund Processing Timeline
Where a refund is approved, InsightsPulse will process the refund within a commercially reasonable period, typically within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days, through the original payment method used at the time of purchase, wherever possible. The exact time for the refunded amount to reflect in the Customer’s account may vary depending on the Customer’s bank or payment provider.
20. Policy Changes
InsightsPulse may revise this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its business practices or applicable law. The most current version of this Policy will always be published on the InsightsPulse website, and continued use of the Platform following any such update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
